Magazine Writing for Beginners class in August 2009

I will be teaching a Continuing Education course at Lakeland Community College for "Magazine Writing for Beginners" for the summer sessions.

This class will review the local and online market for writers. Learn tips on ways to find article ideas, how to write a query letter and dealing with editors. Bring an idea for the in-class writing workshop. Learn how to identify sources, interview techniques, create an outline and best practices to structure your article.
